http://businesssuccesstrainingcp.blogspot.com/ You are on you way to learning what it takes to become successful. I will be sending you different blogs, websites and videos to help you achieve the success you desire in life. I look forward to helping you make your dreams become reality.
First, with your permission, I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself with this video. This video mentions what all that I am involved with. Whether you’re interested or not, please stay with me. After this video I am going to start your success training.
This is a newspaper article that was written about me being an entrepreneur in my 20’s. At the time of this article, I owned a body repair shop in my early 20’s. However, after 4 years I decided to sell the business and follow other career opportunities.
Actually, my entrepreneurship started as a young kid. My dad taught me how to arc weld and I started building cattle and sheep panels for ranchers in my early teens. In my high school years I became interested in cars and started working on them as a hobby. After painting my first car in high school, friends and family started paying me to repair and paint their cars on the side. I also worked for a dealership in the body shop through high school years. After graduation I decided to attend WyoTech’s collision repair program to further my education and desire to work on cars for a career. After completing the program I started my collision career. I worked for a independent shop until I opened my own business as mentioned above.
After selling my business, I became an insurance appraiser for an independent claims office. Later I decided to jump back into the collision side and became a manager for a collision repair shop. In 2004 I decided to use my talents and skills to help others by becoming an instructor and I find it very rewarding to help students succeed in a career and in life.
I continue to be a full-time instructor, entrepreneur and I hope this training will enlighten you with some of the training and experience that I have gained through the years. I invite and encourage you and your employees or students to work on each assignment together. The more you are involved the more everyone will excel. Working together as a TEAM is the key to becoming the champion in your career. Together Everyone Accomplishes More

*added note Feb.29th of 2008 – Demolition has begun* – 10.2007 – My tribute to The Metropolitan Hotel (a building I fell in love with a while ago) is a 180-room historic structure located at 309 Asbury Avenue in Asbury Park, New Jersey and was one of the last large hotels operating in Asbury Park before it closed in 1989. The hotel is set to be demolished by October 2007 because it has become a hazard and is in danger of collapse.
The current structure is not the original, although a hotel has operated on the site under this name since the 1880’s. The main structure is a Spanish Revival style built in a rectangle, with a four story hip roof, central pavilion, two-story porticos with fluted Doric columns, and balustrade and enclosed porches. Decorative touches include the stucco surfacing, parapet roof and canales. The metal marquee is a later addition, and there is a newer motel wing on the west side of the property.
Longtime owners Martin and Sylvia Weinblatt received $2.25 million for their hotel when they sold it in 1987 to Jersey City developers Karim Ahmed Elsaid and Gomaa Elsaid, who filed for bankruptcy protection the next year. The Metropolitan is currently owned by a group of Morristown investors called 309 Corp., who purchased the property for $150,000 in 1993 (from a group that acquired it from a bank for $10,150 earlier that year). 309 Corp had planned to open the 38-room hotel annex to people who needed housing in Asbury Park while they sought financing, but the city turned down their request because of changed zoning laws.
The Metropolitan is listed on the Monmouth County Inventory of Historic Sites, and is located in the Grand Avenue Institutional/Professional historic district.
In September 2007, it was announced that the Metropolitan Hotel has deteriorated to a point in which restoration or rehabilitation is no longer a possibility. Therefore, it will become a victim of the wrecking ball like many other Asbury Park landmarks.

If you have an MAI, does that qualify you to do housing real estate appraisals?
It takes 4-6 years depending on how many hours you can manage to apprentice each year.

I am a professional organizer and often clean out estates. I would like to understand the value of the items I am trying to sell on behalf of my clients.
Read a lot of reference books related to the price of old furniture and antiques. A furniture antique has to be at least 100 years old. But old furniture can be a collectible and as valuable. As to being certified, check with your state’s licensing board. Some states don’t require it.
Good luck.

Will they train you if you to get your license? If you did over 5000 hours of BPO’s and CMA’s can you become an appraiser more quickly?
They will not hire you unless you are at least qualified to be an apprentice, you need to do that before you can work on your own anyway.
A BPO’s will not count, the only hours that count are when you are under an appraisers supervision.
